Before starting c/studio, I worked in production for brands such as Disney, Gucci, Adidas, Burberry, Vogue, Elle, Puma, and GQ, to name a few. The hours were very long and unsustainable on a regular basis.

I always knew I wanted to start my own business, but I wasn't sure in which field. Photography initially appealed to me, but my production experience scared me away. Eventually, I stumbled upon the idea of starting a candle brand. I used to enjoy picking up artisan candles from London markets. The business lasted for six years, during which I achieved milestones like being stocked in Urban Outfitters, collaborating with Karen Millen on a bespoke candle, and partnering with Etsy for a collection. Unfortunately, Brexit and Covid hit, causing raw material prices to skyrocket. I couldn’t maintain the price tag I wanted, and when I look back, I realised I fell out of love with it. The area I enjoyed the most was the marketing and photography side.

I began side hustling with c/studio, quickly gaining clients. Eventually, I decided to close the candle brand to focus on c/studio full-time. Fast forward three years, and we are now a Photography and Social Media Studio specialising in Content Creation, Social Media, and Branding. We're a team of three, covering all areas of Branding and Marketing.
